Good Data was founded in 2007 with the mission to provide a platform for collaborative analytics. Since then, the company has built a complete cloud-based business intelligence service hosted on Amazon Web Services. This presentation will describe how Good Data moved from concept to reality, demonstrating the importance of architecting for the cloud: how to conceptualize, design and build applications when cloud computing is a given.
Speaker Bios: Zdenek is the chief product manager of the Good Data service. As a founding member, he oversees development and design teams and keeps the product moving forward according to plan. He brings 14 years of engineering and product management experience to Good Data. Zdenek most recently worked at Hewlett Packard, via Mercury Interactive and Systinet, Inc., and NetBeans.
Jakub is the user experience guru of Good Data. He has a long track record of creating large interactive and enjoyable Internet showcase sites. He and his team work to create an innovative and intuitive web-based client for the Good Data service. Before joining Good Data, Jakub led large web projects for APN publishing house in New Zealand, and was co-founder and lead developer of a boutique web development studio, Webworx.
