Here are a few pointers that will assist you to maintain your pool clean and cool.

1. Want to keep the water as clean as possible? The best way to do it is to run the filter 24 hours each day. This will raise your electric bill by leaps and bounds, however. A better and cheaper option is to run your filter to 10 hours each day, preferably in the day.

2. Do you have a skimmer basket? Check on it every day, and do not forget to remove any leaves or debris which has been collected. Do this to keep your skimmer basket working at optimal levels.

4. Do you have an in-ground pool? Keep garbage can close it so that you can place all of the skimmed debris there. Do not empty the internet on the ground-all the debris could only be blown into the pool the minute it dries.3

4. Can you adjust water levels whenever you do maintenance? Read any swimming pool care manual, and you'll know you should. It's the simplest and quickest way for adding water since it only requires an inch or two of water.
